JinkoSolar, the global leading solar PV and ESS solution supplier, participated for the 8th consecutive year in the Intersolar South America Exhibition in São Paulo, Brazil, and hosted a very Exclusive Cocktail Party in the Hotel Unique Rooftop on August 28th for its key Brazilian Customers of both the Utility and Distributed Generation segment.

The smarter E South America – which integrates Intersolar South America, ees South America, and Eletrotec+EM-Power South America – brought together more than 530 exhibitors from the photovoltaic, storage, and electrical infrastructure sectors, who presented their innovations at the Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo (SP).

This year the visitors were approximately 50,000, beating the record of last year, and during the Expo (29th-31st August 2023) thousands of them visited the JinkoSolar Booth to discover the new SUNTERA Utility Storage Solution and the innovations of the upgraded product portfolio, offering a wide range of new energy solutions aimed to face the different demands of the market.

The Brazilian market is the fourth largest in the world in terms of power added in the last year and is in the TOP 10 nations with the most installed capacity in photovoltaic technology, whether in large plants or in small distributed generation systems. The figures show that Brazil is on the way to being a major player in the renewable energy market and of course, still represents the first main market for Jinko in Latin America. The event itself was indicative of a market consolidation.

In terms of module innovations, JinkoSolar showcased in its booth the Tiger Neo 66 Cell and 78 Cell Bifacial from the R Series, designed to provide high power density, top efficiency, and a high energy yield for any scenario (residential, C&I, and utility-scale) reaching up to 635 W power.

Talking about storage solutions, recently, JinkoSolar made a triumphant entrance into the C&I and utility-scale storage market and for the first time in Latin America it was possible to exhibit to the public the SUNTERA mockup representation 1:3. SUNTERA storage solution, with a 3,44MWh rated capacity and a 20ft container size, which represents the perfect solution for the growing utility-scale market and combines effective liquid cooling, higher efficiency, and safety.

“This edition of Intersolar has once again demonstrated the vitality of the photovoltaic industry in Brazil; an industry capable of creating hundreds of thousands of jobs and which has seen significant growth in photovoltaic systems placing photovoltaics as the second source of energy in Brazil. Clean and low-cost energy complementary to water generation. We are proud to accompany Brazil towards a renewable energy transition, with our products of high quality and efficiency. With the new Tiger Neo N-Type, best-selling product for large-scale projects” commented Alberto Cuter, General Manager Latam & Italy for JinkoSolar.
