Buenos Aires- October 5, 2018-JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. (“JinkoSolar”), one of the world's largest solar module manufacturers, today announced that as the only Chinese company, it was invited to a dialogue at The Business 20 (B20) Summit held in Buenos Aires on October 04-05, 2018. More than 1200 representatives from top companies and business associations from all G20 countries and sectors participated at the summit, to get collective efforts to address the most pressing global problems: downward pressure, climate change and trade protectionism. In Energy & Infrastructures panel discussion with energy giant leaders, Ms. Dany Qian, VP of JinkoSolar talked about how solar grid parity revolutionarily changes the century-old utility business model and leads the global economy into a new climate economy era. She said, “So far the sufficient and most cost effective way to counter climate change can only be realized by using solar power which is accommodated by storage, grid infrastructure, decentralization and digitally- enabled electrification technologies. It is likely to be too late to take actions if governments and enterprises still hold wait and watch attitude even when solar grid parity is just around the corner and the economic axe for solar energy certain.” Ms. Dany Qian was also exclusively invited to a dialogue with Argentina President Mauricio Macri in the roundtable meeting on October 04. She commended that the G20’s role on dealing with climate changes – shifting from climate crisis response towards a long term global new climate economy building at the moment that solar has become the economic catalyst instead of economic liability. Moving on to Argentina’s opportunities, Ms. Dany Qian said Argentina can assume its leadership in energy transformation given its experience in green infrastructure investment that can serve as roadmap for other developing countries in Latin America.
